Kenyan Gospel Singer, Song Writer and Worship Minister, Alice Kimanzi has released a new song, ‘Yesu Wangu’. “My husband (Gideon Kimanzi) and I had been working on this song for a while and it is based on 1st John 4:19; We love because He first loved us.” She wrote.
“That even while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Truth is, we could never pay Him back for His love for us, but we can love Him back through our commitment to Him.” She explained.
“It is such a joy to use our creative expression to write and perform songs for the Body of Christ. I’m also grateful to Minister Marshall Wampayo for allowing us to use part of his song at the vamp that declares “Anapasua Njia Pasipo Kuwa Na Njia” (He makes a way where there is no way).” She added.
“My hope is that this song will be a great blessing to those who hear it and most importantly that the Lord is honoured through it.” She concluded.
