Candidates who sat for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2021 this Year can now find out which secondary school they will join, come the opening of a new term.
Parents can send the candidates’ index number to 22263 to know which school their children have been placed in. The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and will be charged Sh25 each. The parents can also check from the Ministry of Education website.
Education CS George Magoha announced this today. More than 30,000 candidates will join National Schools. The council registered 1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centres.
11,857 candidates scored between 400 and 500 marks. 315,275 scored between 300 and 399 marks and 578,197 scored between 200 and 299 marks.
Meanwhile, Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) marking has entered week two. Two national exams will be carried out this year as the 2022 KCPE and KCSE candidates are set to sit for their exams at the end of the year.
