She brought us Waweza, Mungu Mkuu , Matendo , Celebrate Albums and now at a time when the world needs hope in the midst of a pandemic that has stretched out for too long, Evelyn Wanjiru releases her 5th album titled “Mwanga” which is Swahili for Light.
The Mwanga Album was produced live with audience present by her own record Label Bwenieve on August 30th 2021 at The C.U.E.A L.R.C Auditorium. It consists of 12 audio – visual songs with strong Kenyan culture , also other blended genres of music from across our African region and Western sound blended in to reach the world as a whole.
Mwanga the title song has a South African feel with sweet melody all blended with Evelyn’s powerful voice. Every song on the album will definitely raise your eyebrows, live rendition of her Everlasting song takes you through a Kenyan way of singing.
Mwanga Album was released on 24th of November exclusively on Boomplay.
