Just a few weeks after releasing her highly acclaimed 5th Live album, Evelyn Wanjiru just dropped visuals to her song ‘Mwanga.”Mwanga’ which is Swahili for light is off her new album under the same title and it has a South African feel with sweet melody all blended with Evelyn’s powerful voice.The beautiful song comes at a perfect time where In a world full of uncertainties and doubts, all we need is God’s grace His shining light to guide our steps in our day to day endeavors.The video which was done live by Bwenieve films was released on January 1st 2022 and has since garnered over 34,000 views as of today, already becoming everyone’s guiding song for 2022. Speaking about her ‘Mwanga’ which was exclusively dropped on 24th November 2021 on Boomplay, the award winning artist said;  “I am super excited to announce the release of my new album that will minister to people not only in Kenya and Africa but to the ends of the earth. I thank God for the completion of this album and everyone that came into make it a success” ‘Mwanga’ consists of 12 audio-visual songs with strong Kenyan culture, also other blended genres of music from across our African region and Western sound blended in to reach the world as a whole.The album was produced live with audience present by her own record Label Bwenieve on August30th 2021 at the C.U.E.AL.R.C Auditorium.Every song on the album will definitely raise your eyebrows and lift your spirits.live rendition of her Everlasting song takes you through a Kenyan way of singing.
