Tanzanian gospel Singer Miriam Lukindo Mauki is set to release a new song ‘Liko Lango’ on 11th February, 2022. The song has featured Kenyan gospel musician Evelyn Wanjiru. The song’s inspiration came from the book of Matthew 7: 7 ‘The Lord says whoever knocks the door will be opened.’

“We often forget that the gate is open, due to being overwhelmed or surrounded by many things so we stop entering the gate to deliver our needs. So I know if we knock on the door it will be opened and the gate is open to everyone. All we have to do is sign up.” She wrote.

The verse of the song reminds people of Gods love to mankind. “The verse; who loves you as Jesus is the idea of producer Taz.” She explained.

Miriam is the voice behind great inspiring gospel songs including; Hakuna Wa Kubadili, Wewe ni Sababu, Amefanya, Sema na Moyo. She has also collaborated with gospel artistes such as Bella Kombo, Julia Willkander, Paul Clement and Taz.
