You Need God to Finish What He Helped You to Build

What God started by spirit, do not let it be finished by flesh. David said; The Lord is my sherphard. David wrote that because of his experience. He was a sherphard himself. David was also full of faith, and he used his instrument of sherphard in the war against the Phillistian giant Goliath.

How do you go from God being the strength, joy of your life, to “God i’ve got it from here?” Only the work of God cuts to our hearts. God began with our salvation and continues His work in our hearts through sanctification. Paul reminds his friends, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13).

God designed you for success. He made you to be a winner. This is true for every person, regardless of what has happened in the past. God has never destined anybody to live a mediocre life.

Jeremiah 29:11 says,

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
