Magoha Announces 2021 KCPE Results

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has released the anticipated Kenya Certificate of Secondary Eduucation (KCPE) 2021 Exams results.

The top student, Magata Bruce Mackenzie from Gilgil Hills Academy scored 428 marks out of the possible 500 marks followed closely by  Ashley Kerubo from Makini School Kibos who scored 427 marks.

According to Magoha, the performance of male and female candidates in the 2021 KCPE was comparable. Parents, guardians and candidates can get the results from Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices and their respective schools.

Candidates should send their index number and initials KCPE to 20076 in order to access the results. The charges of the SMS are Ksh.25.

This is the second last exams done under the 8-4-4 system before the education curriculum fully shifts to the Competency-based Curriculum. The number of candidates who sat for the 2021 KCPE were  1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centres .
