Women Leaders In Azimio Movement Rally For Karua To Be Raila’s Running Mate In August 9th Elections

The Azimio women leaders want Raila Odinga to pick a woman as his running mate in the up-coming August 9th general elections. The women drawn from 26 political parties say Nark Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua should be given an opportunity to be the Countries 2nd in command should Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance win the August polls.

The women uploaded Martha’s track record saying she is the best for the job. They also promised to rally her name for the deputy president position and argue their case.

Other political leaders that have shown interest to be Raila’s running mate including Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Machakoes County Governor Alfred Mutua.

Kalonzo has maintained that he has to be on the ballot paper together with Raila. Wiper party has maintained that Kalonzo has to be the running mate of Raila.

On the other hand Governor Alfred Mutua says he is the best man for the job. He denied claims that he has waged a personal war with Kalonzo and is trying to call the shots in Ukambani politics.
