Waiting Upon The Lord (Trust and Prayers)
This week we have been treated to a touching testimony of Gospel Music Singer Evelyn Wanjiru (The Wait) and how God answered her prayer to have a child after 10 years in her marriage. She also came out with a thanks giving song to God titled ‘Asante’ and at the end of the music video there was an encouraging message from the Bible from the book of Habakkuk 2:3 KJV.
‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’
This testimony got me thinking of how God is faithful no matter the situation. When we bare ourselves to God and have faith in Him. Everything is possible no matter how long it will take to manifest. In the end, God knows the right time to answer our prayers and it’s always at the right time.
There are so many references in the Bible and real life that shows of people who prayed and kept their faith in God waiting for their miracle. Hannah waited for a long time before bearing Samuel. Abraham and Sarah got Isaac in their old age. Elizabeth and Zachariah got their son John, famously known as the Baptist in old age too.
In whatever situation you are passing through, it’s not permanent. Have hope and anticipate for your miracle with constant prayer and faith. Romans 12:12 KJV ‘Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation.’ continuing instant in prayer.’
