Arrow Roots a.ka. Nduma
Over the years especially as a chef and Nutritionist I have come to appreciate organic food especially traditional food. Other day I went for a sleep over at my best friends place and as usual you know when a friend comes over you want to go all out on breakfast. This particular morning, we were figuring out what is for breakfast. It did not take long when our nose suddenly became the best nose dogs. Nduma was calling us by the smell from a neighbours house, and let me tell you when you smell nduma, you can be sure they are good. So lucky for us, neighbour shares their nduma( and you know how nduma are like gold in the city).
Nduma can be eaten in many forms, Crisps, stew etc. I want to share a very simply recipe that we made that morning with the nduma, that will leave you full , satisfied and eaten like a king.
