International Women’s Day 2022

The International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March each Year. This years theme #BreaktheBias focuses on global attention on the state of women when it comes to gender equality, bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

This year the world will celebrate women’s achievements, Raise awareness against bias and Take action for equality in their work places, elevate women’s creativity, improve equality of women in tech, empower women’s choices in health and forge women’s empowerment worldwide.

UNESCO states, “International Women’s Day is an occasion to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment but also to critically reflect on those accomplishments and strive for a greater momentum towards gender equality worldwide.

Its goal is to make the world more diverse, equitable and inclusive for women. In support of this goal, Individuals and organizations are invited to send in #BreakTheBias images as we’ll be sharing some of the best images from around the world in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2022.
