New Song Alert! Insight Into Mwema By Babrah Peres

Babrah Peres is a Kenyan gospel singer,Worship leader and songwriter. From her recent live recording “New Level” she has released yet another song tittled Mwema.
Talking to one of our personnel, the musician reveals,

“Mwema is a song that is comprised of a few African sounds, South African , Congolese,
seben at the end.
Mwema is a special song to me. It was birthed around early 2020 written by my husband and I,
the main inspiration to include it on this album, New Level Live Recording, it’s how the song
speaks of God’s endless goodness.
He is good to us not coz we are good people but because He is full of goodness and His
mercies endures forever.

Just the thought of this makes me rejoice and sing more of His goodness
Standing on the scripture in, Exodus 18:9, “And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the
LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.”
Truly the Lord Has delivered us from the hands of the enemy.
With the help of the band the whole team we were able to glorify the Lord together.
To Him be all glory.”

Captured with a live audience, this album has seen the musician release two songs so
far, with Mwema, which is Swahili for good, as the second song and Bila Wewe, which means
without you, as the first song. We can only look forward to more amazing songs from Babra
Peres’ album, ‘New Level.’
