Tears Of Joy As Evelyn Wanjiru and Husband Agundabweni Akweyu Gift Her Mum A Plot Of Land

It was an emotional surprise as Gospel Singer Evelyn Wanjiru and Husband Gospel Music Producer Agundabweni Akweyu gifted her mother a plot of land. Evelyn shared how she saw her mum struggle to raise them in Nakuru, recalling how her mum was harassed by debt collectors and landlords who would lock them out of the house, hawking maize and charcoal in town and cleaning the church just to earn money to raise the family of five siblings.

“We have seen you struggle to raise my siblings and I in Nakuru, Hawking maize and selling charcoal until the skin on the tip of your fingers break, being harassed by debt collectors and land lords to pay rent until they lock us out of the house, barring the lock with a wooden block. Agunda and I have bought you a piece of Land.” She said. Her mother went down on her knees with tears of Joy, calling upon the name of Jesus and thanking Him, leaving everyone who attended emotional.

The couple encouraged people to honour their parents; “Exodus 20: 12 says We should honour our parents so we may live long. It is not only that, but God has enabled us to bless my mum with something she has dreamt of.” Evelyn said. “You don’t have to have a lot of money. If you desire and trust in God. He is going to see you through it.” Said Agundabweni.

The plot was acquired from Hyssops Properties Limited that is running a campaign dubbed ZawadiMzaziNaHyssops, that is geared to encourage people to appreciate their loved ones, especially parents and guardians by buying them land.
