Value Yourself And Others

When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see yourself in the lenses of God? When you look at a man or woman, boy or girl, you are looking at God’s precious, valued, treasured handiwork. The same applies when you look in the mirror.

Genesis 1:26 NKJV- Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 

God created us in His own image, giving us power over other creations on earth. This means He so much loved us that we resemble him and he gave us power through our minds. Despite of our skin colour, race, and status that human beings have created for themselves in the society. Know that you are likened to God’s image.

Every morning when you wake up, smile at your reflection in the mirror and encourage yourself. Have a purpose in life to fulfil your desires and improve on yourself. Acknowledge the inner critic and accept complements with humility.

Have a merry heart. Keep a smile on your face. It keeps you young always. There is always something to smile about even during tough times because God loves you.

When we value others, we value ourselves more, we elevate our sense of well-being and facilitate our health, growth, and development.
